Delete from inside the app
A signed-in player can permanently delete the recoverable account without contacting support:
- Open Your player.
- Open Safety and Privacy, then Account Data.
- Review the consequences and type DELETE.
- Select Permanently delete account.
Deletion revokes active sessions, removes Apple and Google provider links, removes personal profile and account details, removes friendships, requests and account notification state, resolves active shared matches under the lifecycle rules and removes or anonymises safety references.
Cannot access the app or sign-in provider?
Email privacy@numberplatewords.app from the address associated with the account where possible. Use the subject Numberplate Words account deletion and include your display name, the Apple or Google provider used, the provider email where it was shared with the game, and a brief explanation that you cannot use the in-app control.
We may need to verify control of the account before deletion. Do not send passwords, sign-in secrets or identity documents unless we specifically provide an appropriate secure method.
What can remain
Completed match and moderation records may remain in anonymised or non-identifying form where needed for competitive integrity, dispute handling, safety, fraud prevention or legal obligations. Retained records are no longer used to provide a recoverable player identity.
Device-only appearance, haptics, reduced-motion settings, optional diagnostics choice and guest-capable Daily history are not removed from the device by server-account deletion. Clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app to remove them.
Guest players
Guest play does not create a recoverable server account. Clear app storage or uninstall Numberplate Words to remove guest-only local data.
